First Day of Pre K.

(Politely overlook that this all took place on Monday.)

Not really nervous.
Liked wearing his backpack.
Was cool as a cucumber until he saw his friend Tyler, and had to run over and give him a big hug.
Brought a 'crush cup' of yogurt for his snack.
Didn't look back as he entered his new classroom to play with the kitchen set.

Wayne and I did not cry like we did last year, but man, I missed him so much that day. I am still not ready for him to be in school - I loved our summer days since I've been home again.

However.

Considering he wants nothing to do with the alphabet, counting, or anything remotely academic when I am around, school time is probably a good thing.
