Okay, I know this is a bit of a jump, but how cute are these new stockings at Pottery Barn Kids??
I am hosting Christmas this year, and short of redecorating the house, these might have to do.
You see the ornamental greenery above them? I learned a trick years ago ... just get a piece of MDF cut to the size of the top of your mantel. Place it up there and then staple real (mist with water daily) or faux greenery to the top of the MDF. Your mantle will look fabulous and the whole thing comes down after Christmas and you haven't hurt your mantle.
