Here We Go ...

My baby sister is getting married. Just in case you didn't know.

I am hosting her bridal shower on Saturday. Brunch with Bellinis, french toast and fruit on skewers, lots of bluberries ... and many more of her favorites to be served on pretty cake plates.

There will be flowers everywhere.

Girlie music.

Lots of laughing, sharing, catching up.

My Mom arrives tonight. My inlaws and sister in law on Friday.

Guests from all over to celebrate my sister and what it means to marry her love.

Her love.

So today I have a list that I created backwards from the moment the party starts to right now. And there are a lot of things on it. Feeling a bit panicked that I haven't been panicking up to this point.

So.

Caeden is into 'thumbs up.' When I tell him how much I have to do, he gives me a
thumbs up, and said, "If anyone can get it all done, it's you Mom." Awwww. Just the encouragement a girl needs every now and again.

Wayne is finishing up his second week of chemo. Feeling tired and not eating a lot, but enough to keep going. He looks really good - he can rock the bald head thing pretty well.

Will probably take the rest of the week off to spend time with my family, so look for updates Sunday or Monday ...

And here we go.

  4. The shower you have planned sounds so fantastic. My first thought was that when I get married I am turning to you for the party. :-)
I have no idea how you are able to add this into the mix of so much going on right now, but I hope you are able to enjoy the event and have a great time with some girl time. If anyone knows the strength and beauty that is marriage, it is you.
